The Importance of You
Dorset
Friday 2nd June - Sunday 4th June 2023
A transformational retreat helping busy people move from burnout to balance through yoga, breathwork, meditation and the creation of self-care strategies.
If you have a stressful job or work hours, spend your days taking care of everyone else leaving no space for you or lack the tools and self-care strategies to take regular care of yourself chances are you’re approaching burnout.
As a result, life is filled with fatigue and indecisiveness. You struggle to find time to take care of yourself, physical and mental overwhelm is frequent, you’re lacking motivation and creativity whilst your irritability increases and no matter how much sleep you get you struggle to feel energised. Burnout symptoms like these are becoming increasingly common yet it is so hard to break the cycle and that is why I have created this very special retreat.

Join me for a luxurious weekend in the beautiful British countryside where you will move from a place of burnout to balance. Through the practice of yoga, breathwork, meditation and a special workshop you will have the opportunity to slow down, identify where you need to create more balance in your life and gain clarity on how to do this.
Feelings of overwhelm, tiredness and anxiety will be transformed to those of clarity, calmness and contentment. After just three days you will regain a sense of control, clear on where you need to slow down, the strategies you can need to do this and the tools you can use anywhere to stop you returning to burnout.
Transformation is found in your ability to let go. By stepping out of your comfort zone into a place of space and surrender you will begin the necessary process of resetting. Through rest you can recharge and by harnessing these qualities and giving yourself permission to feel YOU are able to transform, moving from a place of exhaustion, negativity and helplessness to one of ease, harmony and mental balance.

The process of transformation will be woven throughout the weekend, encouraging you to slow down, let go and create space wherever you feel it is most needed. In-between there will be ample time to feed your soul with deep rest, fresh air, star gazing, time to read, flowing movement, calming yin and nourishing food.

YOUR HOME
Nestled amongst 900 acres of organic farmland within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty you will be staying in a lavish but intimate Georgian Farmhouse brimming with personality and charm. Amongst all its quirky nooks and cranny’s there is ample indoor and outdoor space for leisurely group activities and relaxation.
The ground floor consists of a beautiful country kitchen and lounge with a spacious dining room that opens up onto a generous terrace. A cosy snug provides an additional space for some gentle socializing or just putting your feet up.
Outside the house, there are a multitude of spaces to enjoy without having to step off the property. Take a stroll around the huge walled gardens, explore the play Orchard, or enjoy mid-summer sunsets from a viewing point of your choice. In-between you can wander down to the farms stunning indoor biomass heated swimming pool and sauna where you can warm up or cool off as much as you wish.
Beyond the property you have access to miles of walking and biking trails or - for those who want to venture a little further - the quaint Georgian market town of Blandford Forum is just five miles away. Should you want to travel further afield you can visit the World Heritage Jurassic Coast for iconic Dorset beaches just 30 minutes-drive away.
YOUR YOGA TEACHER
About Me, Sarah.

Guiding you through the weekend is me, Sarah. A registered 482 Hour London based yoga teacher.

I came to yoga seven years ago when a knee injury prevented me from doing my normal exercise. As I committed to my recovery, I found I was experiencing a number of unexpected benefits including better sleep and reduced anxiety levels.

Cut to 2016 I took a leap of faith, quitting my stressful job in PR and embarking on my 200 Hours to become a yoga teacher.

Since qualifying I have taught hundreds of people across the UK and abroad across a range of yoga studios, through corporate and private classes as well as on yoga retreats. I have enjoyed teaching at The Yoga Show, working with great brands such as FitBit and professional athletes such as the England Rugby team and I’ve written and filmed content for a fitness app, created online classes for a national gym chain and taught yoga at Wilderness Festival.
My Classes
For me, yoga is a safe space to fully find your path back to your inner wisdom and intuition.
When I discovered yoga I slowly started to re-discover myself. I was able to once again hear and TRUST my inner voice and peel away all the conditioned beliefs I’d been taught about what I should think and feel, ultimately allowing me to live with a greater acceptance of myself and greater clarity of the things that mattered.
It is my hope that my classes provide the same sanctuary for you. That in time you learn to trust yourself again, unlearn the behaviours that have held you back to help you return to a place of self-awareness, acceptance, compassion and your most authentic self.
My classes are a place where you don’t need to prove yourself, you have freedom from having to be anyone or anywhere and you can truly reconnect with who you are and where you feel whole.
No matter how your practice looks I hope that you truly come away from my yoga classes feeling elevated in every way possible, nourished, mind, body and soul.
